How to Plan and Buy Your New Kitchen

From measuring and layout ideas to selecting cabinets, delivery and installation, we can help at every stage. Start with our kitchen planning advice, explore the Premier cabinet range, or visit a showroom for personal guidance.

Our range of modular units provides practical options for many kitchen layouts. Kitchen planning takes time, and our team can help you compare suitable cabinet combinations.

Explore our designs online or visit one of our showrooms in Henderson, Rosedale, Manurewa or Paraparaumu. Our team can help you review the available options and plan your next steps.

1. Measure the room and plan the layout

Use our kitchen measuring guide to record walls, openings and services, and confirm appliance model dimensions. Test cabinet combinations with our free 3D kitchen planner.

Measure your space using our planning guidance, or ask our team about an available measurement service. Once the dimensions and preferred range are known, we can help you review the layout using 3D planning software.

2. Choose cabinets, finishes and services

You can choose flat-packed or assembled cabinets, depending on the selected products and services. Our team can assist with planning and can discuss installation, collection and delivery options. Final measurements, availability, pricing and scope must be confirmed before ordering.

Our range also includes selected sinks, taps and kitchen accessories, such as draining trays, splashbacks, cutlery inserts and drawer organisers. Stone and laminate benchtop samples are available at selected showrooms. Please confirm the current display range, product availability and lead time before travelling or ordering.

If you are looking for a fully custom kitchen, we can also assist. Our custom division Tailored Interiors is here to help you design your dream kitchen, located at our Henderson showroom.

3. Check the complete quotation

Use our NZ kitchen cost guide to check cabinetry, panels, benchtops, appliances, delivery, installation and trade work against your budget.

We can prepare an itemised quotation based on the selected products and services. Please compare quotations on the same specifications, inclusions, quantities, delivery requirements and installation scope.

4. Prepare for delivery and installation

Before the cabinets arrive, confirm the delivery or collection arrangements, site access and who is responsible for each installation task. Follow the kitchen cabinet installation checklist and review the renovation timeline to coordinate the next steps.
